Reading
This post tracks the books I've read. I have a lot of books that I own, but unfortunately haven't read yet. The plan is to amend this list with every book that I have read since the creation of this post.
The organization of this list is still up in the air. The entries will be in chnological order of when I finished reading them, but this may change in the future.

A book written by Josef Frolík recounting his experience working at the ministry of the interior of the Czechslovak Socialist Republic under the communist regime in the 1950s and the 1960s. It describes the beginnings of the StB (Státní bezpečnost; EN: State Security), and the intelligence and counterintelligence practices of this agency at that time. The book also mentions many of the people involved in the creation of this agency, some of its inner workings, and many employees and foreign agents involved in its (counter)intelligence activities. Notably it talks about Rudolf Barák, the minister of interior in the years 1953-1961. He was heavily involved in making the agency into the all-seeing apparatus it became.

The book is split into two distinct parts. The first part gives an overview of what we know about the Viking religion and some parts of the culture. The second part is a collection of various myths, each preceded by a short note on its historical veracity. The book reads a lot like a textook, but despite that, it is still very engaging and easy to read.
